Born in India, brought up in Kenya and having acquired my Bachelor of Arts in International Relations in Miami, Florida, I've been exposed to a diverse group of people and issues. This understanding of global interaction was better refined by my pursuit in receiving the Global Learning Medallion.

PROGRAM ADVISER - UNESCO CENTER FOR PEACE
August 2015 - August 2016
Led a group of 45 interns in the planning and organization of a summer camp for over 150 students from more than 30 countries. Edited final drafts of all 8 background guides written on topics ranging from economic issues to scientific development
PROGRAM FOUNDING DIRECTOR (INDIA)
May 2017- July 2017
Established a Model United Nations (MUN) Program by recruiting 45+ students and training them on rules, procedures, negotiation tactics and debate in English. Prepared student leaders to take on administrative roles and trained teachers to become program advisers to make program self-sustaining

Led a team of 40 students to research “The Effects of Media on U.S Foreign Policy” and covered topics ranging from Mexican Immigration and perception of African Americans to U.S. Intervention in Somalia (1993)
RESEARCH ASSISTANT- WOMEN AND GENDER STUDIES
May 2019- August 2019
Conducting research on online violence in Brazil and the U.S. Developing a better instrument to understand experiences of online violence, analyze the willingness of individuals to act against it, and evaluate the levels of public awareness on the subject
